Meeting With The Chairman Of The Jordan Hotels Association With The General Manager Of The Vocational Training Center

H.E. Senator Eng. Abdul Hakim al Hindi, Chairman of the Jordan Hotels Association, chairs a meeting with the General Manager of the vocational training center “VTC” , Eng. Ahmed Al gharaiba, and his assistant for technical and administrative affairs, Eng. Ibrahim al Tarawneh, and the Jordanian Hospiatlity and training education company “JHTEC”.

The meeting discussed ways of cooperation and partnership to enhance the tourism sector and serve the community.

This step comes within the framework of efforts to strengthen the tourism sector in Jordan and improve the services provided to visitors.

During the meeting, H. E. Al Hindi, stressed the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors and educational institutions to ensure the provision of a distinguished tourism environment.

 

For his part, Al gharaiba said that the foundation’s strategy for the years 2022- 2025 emanating from the economic modernisation vision of Jordan, and related to the vocational and technical education and training sector, is based on a full and genuine partnership with the private sector and in line with the needs of the local and international labor markets.

 

Based on this, the attendees praised the importance of the role of the vocational training institution in qualifing trainees and raising the level of services provided in the tourism sector. Also, they stressed on the need to encourage initiatives that promote investment in this vital sector, providing job opportunities and improve national income.

The Jordanian Hospiatlity and training education company “JHTEC”. has outstanding experience in the field of hotel training and education, in addition to the Jordan Hotels Association’s experience in this field . it is expected that these experiences will be exchanged during the upcoming working sessions, with the aim of enhancing the quality and developing the services provided in the tourism sector.”

This meeting comes within the framework of efforts to support the tourism sector as an essential part of national development plans, and enhance its role in achieving economic stability and providing job opportunities for Jordanian youth.
